Where the route ends: the bar at Burj Crown.

Everything upstream only counts if it survives the final extraction. MRJADE describes a brewing setup designed to monitor and control the variables that matter most in espresso: temperature, pressure, extraction time and grind. The barista still makes the call.

Alongside espresso, the bar pours V60 by hand, for guests who want a cleaner, slower cup. Read the detail in how MRJADE uses technology to protect the cup.

Heritage

Quick answers

Specialty coffee in Downtown Dubai: your questions

Short answers about our coffee, where it comes from and what to order.

Where can I get specialty coffee in Downtown Dubai?

MRJADE Coffee at R01, Burj Crown on Emaar Boulevard serves specialty coffee in Downtown Dubai: MRJADE Crema, Turkish Coffee, V60 Filter, espresso and milk classics. Its beans are sourced in Latin America, checked in Hamburg and roasted in Istanbul, according to MRJADE’s sourcing story. We open at 7 AM daily.

What is specialty coffee?

Specialty coffee usually means high-grade coffee, traditionally scoring 80 or more on the Specialty Coffee Association’s 100-point scale, that is carefully sourced, roasted and brewed. MRJADE names its origins and process but does not publish cupping scores, so we describe our coffee by how it is made rather than by a score.

Where does MRJADE’s coffee come from?

MRJADE’s sourcing story names Costa Rica, Brazil and Colombia among its origins. After harvest the coffee goes to Hamburg to be evaluated for consistency and physical quality, including bean size, moisture and integrity, then to Istanbul for roasting before it is brewed at Burj Crown in Dubai.

Where is MRJADE coffee roasted?

According to MRJADE’s published process, the coffee is roasted in Istanbul, using traditional methods combined with modern control of temperature, duration and roast development. Roasting shapes sweetness, acidity, body and aroma. The roasted coffee is then brewed at our Burj Crown café in Downtown Dubai.

What is MRJADE Crema?

MRJADE Crema is our signature coffee: velvety and full-bodied with a polished finish, and the drink most closely tied to the MRJADE name. It is the natural first order if you want the core MRJADE coffee experience, and it leads the hot coffee menu beside Turkish Coffee, V60 and espresso.

What is Turkish coffee at MRJADE?

MRJADE serves Turkish coffee as a 4 oz heritage serve: finely ground coffee prepared slowly for a rich, aromatic cup rooted in traditional coffee culture. It suits guests who like intensity and ritual, and it links the café to the Turkish influence in the MRJADE story.

What is a V60, and how is it different from espresso?

A V60 is a hand-poured filter coffee. At MRJADE it is clean, delicate and brewed slowly to show clarity, aroma and detail in the coffee. Espresso is short, concentrated and intense, so choose V60 for a lighter black coffee to sip slowly and espresso for maximum intensity.

What is the difference between an espresso, an Americano, a macchiato and a cortado?

Espresso is short and concentrated. An Americano is double espresso lengthened with hot water for a longer black coffee. A macchiato is a 4 oz espresso marked with a little milk. A cortado is espresso balanced with an equal amount of silky steamed milk, smooth and bold.

Which coffee should I order first?

Order MRJADE Crema for the signature experience. If you like black coffee, try the V60 or an Americano. If you like milk, try a Flat White or a Cortado. For something traditional, order the Turkish coffee. The coffee finder on this page gives a quick recommendation.

Does MRJADE serve anything besides coffee?

Yes. The menu includes a matcha collection of eight drinks, hot chocolate, tea, iced non-coffee drinks and water, so a group that does not all drink coffee can still use one stop. See our Best Matcha in Downtown Dubai guide for the matcha range.

What are MRJADE Coffee’s opening hours and address?

MRJADE Coffee is at R01, Burj Crown, Emaar Boulevard, Downtown Dubai. We open daily at 7 AM and close at 11 PM from Sunday to Thursday and at midnight on Friday and Saturday. Holidays can change this, so check our Google Business listing before you travel in.

Does MRJADE deliver coffee?

Yes, through Noon Food and Deliveroo. Availability and delivery times depend on the app and your address, so enter your location in the app to check. You can also dine in or take your coffee away from our Burj Crown café, or call +971 58 574 6311 ahead.
